We caught up with him to find out what his top festivals are and why…
Had the honor of playing here 3 times and the first time was opening up the Dance Village for Radio 1 back in 2007, then in 2014 i was one of the headline acts at the Temple.
There’s nothing that compares with Glasto and the size of the event is overwelming. My Highlight was seeing Shut Up & Dance play after Fatboy Slim in 2000 and watching them drop one of my first tunes and the place going mad.
I’ve played nearly every single stage at Boomtown but the most memorable was playing on the Arcadia Spider in 2013.. it felt like I was on the Starship enterprise and the experience is one I wont forget.
This year I’m playing the Hidden woods and will be the first time you will hear my new live dub album.
Back in the 90’s i played at many Megadog festivals and was the first festival promoters to introduce live dance bands, I toured with everyone from Underworld, Leftfield, The Prodigy, Dreadzone etc. If it wasn’t for Megadog then live dance music wouldn’t as popular as it is now.
