Spectrem’s Top 5 DNB Tracks of the Year

The drum and bass scene is looking strong. From the sweaty recesses of the grimiest jump-up raves to chart-topping, ad-soundtracking mainstream acceptance, 2015 has shown that this music has the full spectrum covered. And Technique Recordings, as always, has been up there at the forefront of the movement. This compilation, drawn from Technique’s releases over the year, is here to confirm that point.

Serving up ‘Say Goodbye’ for this years compilation, we talked to the producer from Perth to get to know his Top 5 DNB Tracks of the year.

1: Culture Shock – City Lights (Ft. Bryn)

Very groovy track with signature thick culture shock bassline, vocals by Bryn just top it off.

2: Dimension – Jet Black

You can’t not bop your head to this roller, Dimension brings the heat once again.

3: Drumsound & Bassline Smith – The Truth

This tune is absolute fire, guaranteed to go off in the clubs, amazing synth work.

4: Wilkinson – Breathe

Feel good summer vibes with this one, great one to start off the night out.

5: June Miller – We Are Not Human (Ft. Hannah Lux)

Great for a rainy day, I’m a sucker for beautiful piano chords and smooth vocals.
