His career accolades are testament to his artistic pedigree, from hits like ‘Ruffneck’ and ‘Warning’ with The Freestylers, topping charts globally and touring America with Lenny Kravitz, to the smash DnB hit ‘Mo’ Fire’ with Rawhill Cru and Bad Company. More recently the hot single ‘Sound the Alarm’ featuring Skarra Mucci & Bassface Sascha won best video in the American DnB awards for the Serum remix, who also produced the current hit ‘Battle Cry’ on Philly Blunt with support coming from Randall, Bryan Gee plus DJ Target on BBC Radio 1xtra.
The album features Navigator alongside an all star cast of international artists including Roni Size, Ranking Joe, Potential Badboy, Skarra Mucci, Marcus Visionary, David Boomah, Liondub and many more. Alignment was written to a cross-genre sound track encompassing his love for Reggae Dancehall, Jungle Drum & Bass and Progressive Breaks.
This album is Navi’s message to the world and it contains strong, conscious lyrical content that many people will identify with, and the diverse music backing the message will appeal to all generations of true skool music lovers worldwide. The ‘Alignment’ LP is a 27 track masterpiece of UK MC history that perfectly showcases the artists versatile abilities and is a definitive chapter in Navigator’s life.
Dropping concurrently with the album, Navigator and Beat Culture proudly present the third installment of the documentary ‘The Evolution of a London MC: Journey To Alignment’. This time around viewers are privy to glimpses and insights into Navigator’s personal musical development over the last 6 years whilst living in Berlin, Germany. This short documentary/film will be accompanied by a bonus, multi-genre sound track of old and new Navigator material. This heavyweight package will be released in conjunction with the ‘Alignment’ album on August 2nd, 2017.
