Punks Music is owned and operated by the world famous Stanton Warriors. The Stantons have been using Punks to put out great music for over a decade. But in 2014 they have really tuned up the pressure. With releases already by the Warriors themselves, Marten Horger, Pirate Jams & Bombo Rosa, and EP’s lined up from Nixon, Evil Nine and Keith MacKenzie & Fixx just to name a few, Punks are slowly but surely bringing the cool back to breaks.
One release in particular has caught the imagination of the bass music world. Mafia Kiss’s outstanding ‘It Began In Detroit’ EP has been picking up some serious airtime on radio from the likes of Monki on 1Xtra and Mike Delinquent on Kiss Fresh
